I was told by my Dad, Wilfred Lamar Tramel that it was one of our ancestor's that fought in the Civil War, he didn't want to be associated with either the north or the south my Dad and Mom could not remember. Anyway, my grandfather, Herbert Tramel kept a bible that is over 100 yrs old with all the names of his family. My brother James Michael Tramel has the bible and he & his wife are into our genealogy. I wasn't into it very much except for what we were told re the family and at our picnic in Bazette, TX. I'll talk to my brother and try to find out more. My grandfather mentioned that there were 5 brothers that came over. Thanks for responding.
