Marilyn -

Hello, my name is Deanna Ekrut and Martha Caroline Trainer was my ggg grandmother. She is probably buried in the Mt. Caramel Cemetery in Hunt County, Texas. Her son, George Washington Williams is my gg grandfather. He was married to Carrie Catherine Bumgarner in 1867. They are both buried in Leuders Cemetery, Leuders, Hunt County, Texas. Their daughter, Mary Epsy Missouri Williams Woolf was my great grandmother. Her son, Leo Burton Woolf was my grandfather and his daughter, Patsy jean Woolf Casey is my mom.

Would you happen to know if Martha was of Indian descent? We know that either her or Carrie were, but have not been able to prove which one.

There is very little info on this Williams line on the internet. I just received the delayed death certificate on George Washington Williams. I will be happy to send you a copy. You can e-mail me your address to If I can help any further, please let me know. Nice to have another cousin (even tho it's way way distant):)
