Do you know if he had several younger siblings? I am looking for info on the children of a William Trainer b.1831 in AR he would have been 28 in 1859 so I'm wondering if your William might be an older child that was already out of the house at the time of the 1880 census records that I found. The other children were Annie, mollie, America, Edgar and Alma. My great grandmother's name was America and my best guess until I'm proved wrong is that this is her family and she's named after this other little girl. Any info you have would be helpful as my g-grandmother is dead and no one on that side knows anything.
