In 1850 census, James was a shoemaker. Both he and his wife born in Ireland about 1814. I believe they both died in NYC August 6, 1854. All children born in Connecticut. Eldest son Peter born 1836 married Katie V. Murray in NYC July 31, 1858. Eldest daughter Helen Jane Trainer born 1838 was married to John Caffrey in NYC on October 12 1858. My great great grandmother Mary Ann Trainer married Richard James Murphy on September 16, 1860 in NYC. Other sons are Charles, William and James.

I found Richard and Mary Ann in 1880 census in NY. It is rumored that Richard dies in a horse riding accident in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania about 1890.

If this makes any bells ring for anyone I would like to correspond.
