message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
That was quick! My message was posted despite notices that there was an error.
On 3/4 in Port St. Lucie, Florida, at a bakery named Roma, on US #1, there was an old map of Sicily on the wall which showed the City of Traina. This was important to me since my father in law, who died on 3/20/93 at the age of 92, was Gaetano (Tony) Traina. He was born in Castatermini in Agrigento, Sicily in 1901. He married Rose Tagliarino in 1923 in NYC. she too was from the same town in Sicily. He came to the US in 1910 and lived in Missouri, Tampa, and NYC (Manhattan, Astoria), then in East Meadow, NY and finally in Westbury, NY.
