I am descended from Harry Train AKA George Harry Train and Anna Merrill. Their children were:
Henry Merrill Train, b. 20 May 1818
George H. Train, b. 1820
Ashael Train, b. 3 Dec 1822
James Train, b. abt 1828
Andrew J. Train, b. 1831
Albert Wilson Train, b. 4 Aug 1833
Julia Train, b. 1837.
My grandfather, Charles Henry Adams, lived with his grandfather, Henry Merrill Train, after Charles's father was shot and killed. Henry and his wife are buried in the cemetery at Paonia, Colorado, where my grandfather was born. The Adams and Train families left St. Lawrence County to homestead on the western slope. My great grandmother, Julia (Train) Adams was the first white women in that area afte the Indians had been moved on to the reservation. I have much information on these families as I am preparing a book for publication (this will be our 5th published book) on the Descendants of John Train of Watertown, Mass. Happy to share information with you.
