Maryland Trails from Scotland
Some time ago Gail Trail, after going through the I.G.I. records of the Latter Day Saints, suspected David Trail of Maryland (born abt. 1677-1751) and James Trail of Delaware (married 1698 and died 1739) were twin brothers born to James Trail and Margaret Combe at Kinnell, Scotland in 1672. Of course more evidence was needed to support this theory. After years of research though, I have compiled enough evidence to indicate that this Kinnell theory is indeed true. I will be referencing and documenting this ground breaking effort that has finally revealed the ancestral home of the Maryland and Delaware Trail families and I hope to have it available to anyone interested in the near future.
