I just found the Trail Family genealogy forum and I am excited and overwhelmed at the same time. How long have you all been researching the Trails? I am a descendant of David Traill born in 1695 in Quendale, on Rousay, in the Orkney Islands. Going forward my grandmother was Eva Cecilia Trail born in Harper's Ferry West Virgina in 1882.I have gathered information over time that goes back to David. I was in contact a few years ago with some of the Trails in Arkansas who had their own newsletter and great information. They had a copy of the original land record from Prince George's county that mentions David Traile and then Trayle. I look forward to following the forums and learning more!
