Of course David associated with Ninian Beall. I'm not assuming anything but my best guess is David got off the boat about 1696 and was immediately hired on by one of the land owners around Beall Town for a 4 or 5 year period. This could be Ninian Beall,Archibald Edmonston,or Simon Nicholls among others. When he spoke with George Miller in 1705 David was right in the vicinity of Beall Town so it's likely his plantation was nearby. In retrospect "David's Industry" could have been cut out from the 1000 acre tract of "Beall's Meadows". It's very possible that the land David originally leasedbecame "David's Industry" when Archibald Edmonston patented it in 1714.
