Dear Gail and George, going through my old evidence, which was a list of those who matrculated and graduated from St Andrews I find that although the Robert of St Andrews born 1646 did matriculate for attendance at University in 1772. He did not attend the University as a student, in fact there are no further University records for him. Robert of Greyfriars second son Robert born 1642 matriculated 1659 he finished his studies in Holland beginning in 1667. this is interesting since there are so few Roberts for us to deal with and it rules out that the Robert ordained in London after his return from Holland is the same man as matrulated in 1772 at St Andrews, but I note that Robert of Delaware arrives there in 1673.However it does encourage the idea that Robert of St Andrews is the very sharp business man found in Delaware, who may have preferred to just use his initials as his signature not because he couldn't write his whole name Now whats this idea that Robert didn't die in 1685 as Gail says was there no inventory or some other proof of the will being finalised regards Elsie
