I have been researching my own Doucet family roots and realized I might get some help here finding a long lost best friend from childhood.
Rae Louise Trahan and her family -- Dad was named Raymond-- moved from Edmonton, Alberta to Northern CA in the late 60s. He was a construction worker and after several years they moved on to Huntington Beach and left me broken-hearted. I saw her only once after I married. She was taking her husband to the SF Airport to leave on a tour to Vietnam and she dropped her toddler off with us for the day on her way. I can't remember her mother's or brother's (3 brothers I think) first names but I know her mother's maiden name was also Trahan. Rae's husband's name was Charles Floyd Johnson and he was from the South -- Alabama or the Carolinas maybe?
It would be amazing if I could find her after 37 years.
