Hi, My name is Vanessa Denise McCrory, birth last name of Trahan, adopted name of Fruge'. I love my adopted family and I could never dream of a better life than what they gave me, but my children are doing a project at school for Thanksgiving that includes tracing their ancestry back to their Indian Heritage (when possibly). I was born October 20, 1975 at St. Patrick's Hospital in Lake Charles, LA to Debbie Ann Trahan. She was the Daughter of Rodney Trahan and Mildred Carr (not sure about Carr). She had just turned 13 at the time, so I was put in foster care and eventually adopted. (long Day-time drama between those two happenings LOL) Over the years, I had spoken with her off and on, and she once informed me that we were part Indian through her father, Rodney Trahan. He and Mildred had several children and I will list those I can remember the names of: Wanda, George, Donald, Rodney Jr., & Debbie. I am looking for my genealogy specifically to help my children with this project. Any information would be GREATLY appreciated.
