Hi, my family is the Travelstead's of Southern Illinois. My great grandfather was full blood german and he was from Germany. He married a native american who was my great grandmother. My mother's name is Anna Mae Travelstead Young, my grandmother is Sarah Margaret Parks Travelstead (who later married a Stallings-and she is now deceased), my grandfather was Joseph Tatman Travelstead. My great grandfather was John Jackson Travelstead, and my great grandmother was Betty Mae Parks Edwards (who later married a Otis Cox) That is about all I have and that is all I can find. I have been lead to Frederick Treffenstadt who married Mary Burton, now I am not sure, but that seems to be the blood line right now. If you can help me I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you.
