Thomas Polk Trader married Olive Lewis in 1866, then Codelia Surdam in 1868 in McLean county, Il. "Polk" and Cordelia were excluded from the Twin Grove church for disorderly conduct, and re instated later. They are on the census indexes in McLean co. in 1870, 1900, 1910 and in 1920 Cordelia is there, but Thomas in in Rock Island county. Thomas is mentioned as a survivor in his half sister, Nancy Wheeler Simkins's obit.
I am still searching for any add'l info on this family group.
