Did you ever find the correct Aurthur Trader? When I read this part: This Arthur was 60/70 yrs old, prob. too old to be Elizabeth's husband. Her husband prob. died abt. 1848, as she married second to Jesse Bivans in 1849. It makes me wonder if this Arthur is the correct one. The 30-40 female in his household on the 1840 census would not necessarily be his wife. Lots of adults and children in that household. If you read about Moses Trader Jr. who migrated out of the Xenia, Ohio and was in the same general age group had three or four wives and did not move to Missouri until late in life and fathered children late in life.
