Hi Monica, I am your husbands cousin Tonya. I too have been looking into the Tracy family tree, but like you all dead ends. Grandfathers name was James Olive Tracy Sr. because my dad is a Jr. all I know is he married Rachel Leoine Brouillard(aka Nanny, aka Rachel Bales)January 22, 1948 in Cook County Ill. before they had Rachel Leoine Tracy on June 5, 1948; your husbands mother. My dad was too born in Chicago 1950, acording to my dad on his birth cert. Nanny (Rachel Bales) was born in West Warwick Rhode Island 1922, and his father was born in Baltimore, Maryland and was 37 when my dad was born leading us to believe James Oliver Tracy was born sometime in 1912 or 1913. I have the Brouillard family tree traced way back to past our great great great great great Grandfather Jean Baptiste Brouillard born May of 1754. So if you would like I can give you all that information. I hope you have better luck finding James O Tracy and his side of our family tree and please anything you find on him please let me know. Oh yes he was in the military I am just unsure which department; and I believe he past away in the early 1970's in a VA hospatial (Hines VA Hospatial if that means anything to you)Good Luck, and I hope to hear from you real soon.
