Trying to help my great-aunt find her long lost niece Valerie Tracy. Her father Michael R. Tracy was born 12 Jan. 1930 in the Bronx. He married Florence Lynch in the early 1950's in the Bronx. They had a daughter Valerie in early 50s. Soon after Valerie was born they divorced. Michael remarried a woman named Eleanor. While working on the NYC firepatrol in 1958, Michael died in a fire on Feb. 14, 1958. His first wife Florence remarried, had more children (twins?), and family recollections think Florence's new husband may have adopted Valerie. My great-aunt is Jeannette Tracy Murphy, she lived across the hall from Valerie in an apt. on Melrose Ave in the Bronx. They have tried finding Valerie but haven't had any luck. Thank you for your help.
