I stumbled onto this by accident, but thought the name is unusual enough that someone might recoginize it.
James Spahr [1779 - 1865] was a son of Matthais Spahr & Mary Wells. He married Roxanna Tracy in 1806. Their children were Willis F., Celinda, Isabella, and Amanda Creath Spahr. Of these, Amanda married Elijah Bailey.
Matthais Spahr died in Lick Creek, Clark County, Kentucky on 20 September 1784.
