Katherine, Here's what I have. From the Tracy Genealogy by Evert E. Tracy, published 1898: GARDNER, born 23 Feb. 1777, at NORWICH, Conn., third son of Jared and Margaret Grant Tracy. He married 9 Feb. 1805, Catherine Lansing, of Lansingburgh, NY, where they settled. He was for many years, the proprietor and publisher of the Lansingburgh Gazette. They afterwards removed to Utica, NY. Their children were: George, born 30 Nov. 1812. Cornelius Lansing, born 25 Nov. 1815. James Jared, born 3 Dec. 1818. Catherine Margaret, born 11 Jan. 1816. Susan Hester, born 23 Dec., 1818 Helen Alvord, born 4 Aug., 1823. GARDNER'S PARENTS and siblings: JARED TRACY, born 10 Oct. 1741, at Norwich, Conn., eldest son of Capt. Joseph and Anna Hinkley. He married 20 Oct., 1765, Margaret Grant of Norwich, where they settled. He was a justice of the peace, commissary of supplies for the American army during the seige of Boston, and a member of the legislature. He died 25 Dec. 1790 at Demera, W. I. (West Indies), where he was a merchant and shipmaster. Their children were: William Gidney (spelled Gedney here in Oneida Co. records), born 15 Nov., 1768. Joseph Winslow, born 9 March, 1773. Gardner, born 23 Feb., 1777. James Grant, born 6 March, 1781. Sarah, born 10 Feb., 1769; died, unmarr., 1838. Susannah, born 8 Aug., 1770 Margaret, born 28 July, 1782; died 1 Aug., 1782.
