This is information that may give some answers to some old posts from 2004 by Leisa Benson and Jack Tracy.
1. The middle name I have for Justus is Frazier
2.He was born 30 May 1842 in South Carolina and died 9 may 1904 in Hood county,Texas.
3. His father's name was William Tracy and his mother's name was Nancy Reynolds.
4. His wife was Anna Elizabeth Vaughn born September 1838 in Missouri and died 4 May 1918 in Hood county, Texas.
5. They adopted Anna's neice Sara Ann Vaughn when see was 6 weeks old because Anna's brother Thomas Vaughn's wife, Savanna "Vannie" Blanche Moore Vaughn, died just after Sara was born.
7. Justus's wife's siblings were Mary Jane Vaughn,Oretha Vaughn and Thomas Vaughn. Thomas Vaughn was my great grand father. Anna's father was Sterling Vaughn born in Tennenessee and her mother was Virginia Dillard born in Arkansas.
Note: The name Sterling has also been passed down in my family. My son is Robert Sterling Branch, my grandfather was Robert Sterling Vaughn and my great great grandfather was Sterling Vaughn.If you have any question you can e-mail be at rbranch@wfeca.net
