I would like to find the following Bible or obtain copies of family information contained therein:
"A very extensive collection of genealogical records for the Tracy, Rice & Crowell families. For sale 5/21/2000 on eBay #330077198 by Steve spwurth@aol.com.
John Rice married Jerusha Crowell in 1827. This is their family Bible, with records of children, marriages, &c. Other last names are Farnsworth, Robison, Dudley, Woodworth, Hicks, and others.
Then there are written records of the Crowell family. William Crowell, a Sea Captain who died at sea, Hezekiah Crowell, who married Mary Higgins.
There is also an extensive and very old handwritten manuscript of 6 pages giving the family history of Nehemiah Tracy b. 1723, who married Susanna Smith b. 1726. Their children or descendants are listed, and one of them marries a Crowell, so that the last name of some of their descendants are Crowell."
The above was posted on this Forum back in the year 2000. I am a direct descendant of Nehemiah and Susanna (Smith) Tracy, so it would be of particular interest to me.
