Detective Dennis Tracy Bangor, Maine?

I am looking for the family of Dennis Tracy, he worked out of Bangor, Maine in 1898-1902. He was one of the 2 leed detectives in the locally famous Sarah Ware Murder case. He had a son that lived in Bangor, because the key piece of evidence, a bloody hammer, was left at the son's house, right before it disappeared. Intrigued? I know,I am. My brother in law is Linwood "Butch" Tracy, so don't think I don't have any business asking! :)
