Tracy Family Genealogy Forum

I have scanned a book I own which was published in 1869 titled "History of Franklin Connecticut". Franklin (aka Norwich West Farms) was a part of Norwich, CT until they split off. It contains a map (1663-1725)showing home locations of residents including Capt.John Tracy (son of Lt.Thomas Tracy), Capt.Joseph Tracy (son of Lt.Thomas Tracy) and Sgt.Winslow Tracy (son of Capt.John Tracy)as well as many other families incl some that married into the Tracy lines. There are also brief write-ups on various people/families incl. Lt.Thomas Tracy and other Tracys. There are far too many names to list (over 100 family names), but included are names of Baccus, Griswold, Fillmore, Hartshorne, Huntington, Hyde, Kingsbury, Lathrop, and Nott - just to name a very few. There are also families that married Tracy women. You may be interested to know that, with reference to Lt.Thomas Tracy, it states; "By his first marriage to the widow of Edward Mason, at Wethersfield, he had six sons and a daughter." This does seem to confirm the name of his wife. Bear in mind that 1869 is probably well before any of the genealogy about Lt.Thomas Tracy was written. My line follows from Lt.Thomas Tracy to Capt.John Tracy to Winslow Tracy and on down. I will try to post that map in this forum if it is at all possible. If not, feel free to email me and I will try to get it to anyone interested in the form of an attachment.
