Magdalene Verrueil married Antoine Trabue about 1705, which makes her a Magdalene Trabue, she also later married Pierre Chastain. Among Magdalene Verrueil and Antoine Trabue's children was a daughter Magdalene Trabue born August 1715, this Magdalene married 1. Peter Guerrant about 1732 and 2. Thomas Smith, October 15, 1756. She died about June 1787. Other children of Antoine Trabue and Magdalene Traue were: Jacob Trabue, born 1705, Anthony Trabue, Jr. born 1708, Moses Trabue, born January 11, 1711/12, Judith Trabue, born 1717 (she married Stephen Watkins and later a Mr. Dupuy), Unknown Son Trabue, John James Trabue, born 1722 (who married Olympia Dupuy).

Two of the best sources for Trabues and the Huguenots is "Turff and Twigg" The French Lands by Priscilla Harriss Cabell and "The Trabue Family in America, 1700 - 1983" by Julia Trabue Yates and Charles C. Trabue, III, M.D.
