Have you ever run across any references to the Towsons being stonecutters or stone masons? I know that they were and don't understand why I can't find more mention of them. I understand that there is material at National Archives in which Thomas Towson is named as having been involved with the building of the city of Washington. I plan on taking a look up there this summer as soon as school is out.
