Towse family: Yorkshire to Canada to USA
Posted by: Marty Lund Date: December 05, 1999 at 11:28:02

John Towse of Garton, Yorkshire came to Canada aboard the Valiant, from Hull in 1817 with his wife Mary (Woodell) and their children: Charlotte, John W., Daniel, Elizabeth, Christopher, James, Mary Ann, William George, and Robert. Mary Ann is my greatgreatgrandmother: she married John Lund in Sackville NB 1845. The family settled near Sackville but most descendants are now in the USA; their history is well documented. I can be contacted for more information. Marty Lund lundsnel@direct.ca
