I'm looking for connections to William, Daniel & Thomas Hopkins who are also on the list. Family lore says we're descended from RI Gov Stephen Hopkins 1707-1785, signer of the Declaration of Independence.

I'm especially looking for the parents of my William Henry Hopkins born Feb 13, 1838 Springville, Erie Co., NY.
He married Kate Moore d/o George & Adelia Moore of Schenectady, NY Dec. 28, 1864 in Andrew, Jackson Co., Iowa after his return from the Civil War.
