Thank you for your email.
I have gone through my Townsend family files and cannot find any members of the Daffin family.
I have found an Ann Townsend that could possibly be
the same Ann Townsend that married Joseph Daffin in 1814.
I have an Ann Townsend who was born before 1794 in Accomack County, Virginia. This Ann Townsend was the daughter of William Townsend (born abt 1738 in Somerset County, Maryland) and Susanna Parker Townsend (born abt 1743 in Accomack County, Virginia).
William Townsend had 5 children with birth dates ranging from 1762 to 1794. Perhaps he had more than one wife and
Susanna Parker Townsend is either the birth mother or the step mother of my Ann Townsend.
