Hi Phil,

Do you know what port William landed in, did the migration record give any idea as to what area William was traveling to?

I have given you a link to ancestry canada, to do a free search of the 1901 census and if you can find William and the area he is living in go to the next link. It has the 1901 canadian cenus online, the only thing is you have to know the area where William is living, Ontario etc. You have to download a plugin off this site to see the censuses. It is a pretty good site but it takes time to learn how to use it.
