Hi Billie,

Actually, I don't have any information on Hardy's line at all. I just recently connected my Daniel to James and it was only a note and not the actual will of James. I need to get ahold of that will so that I can make sure. My other cousins and I have been debating this connection for months now and between the two Jameses, one who married Elizabeth Buchannan and the other who married Eliza Strickland, we aren't sure which one we connect to. We have ruled out Ms. Buchannan based on James 1844 Madison Co., GA will that mentions his children, no Daniel. So, if Daniel is mentioned in the other will then that is the James we want to look at. So very confusing!
With regards to your Hardy, I am not sure but the info. I have on Hardy's parents are Richard Towns and Joyce King Rosser. I have no confirmation of this as the note came from another researcher, see msg. # 118 posted here. Something for you to follow if you haven't already ruled them out. I hope that helps.
