Dear Mr. Groves,

I am interested in more info about the Towns family. Ran across your info quite by accident tonight and am a little confused. My Drewry (Drury) Towns was born in South Carolina in 1826. He had a brother, also born in South Carolina ca. 1829. The information I have states that Drewry married Nancy Lankford in Talledega county, Alabama , January 08, 1849. They then came to Tx where their oldest child, Thomas Jefferson was born in 1850.

There is so much information that matches I don't think we are looking at 2 totally different families, do you?

Sincerely,

Joy Towns Alexander
