Thank you for reminding me about the online typescript of the 13 Jul 1850 Greenville Dist SC will of Rachel TOWNES (pbt Sep 1850).

Please work on your transcript.

The most interesting thing I saw when reading the online typescript was her mention that her brother Jonathan and his wife were to be supported out of her estate -- possibly due to a settlement of an intestate estate of her father's? with her husband?: no last name for her brother. I think this is important; and, will appreciate some help.

I thought surely that was Jonathan STOKES; however, my notes indicated he died prior to Rachel STOKES TOWNES.
