I HAVE A BOOK I BOUGHT IN THE VIRGINIA HISTORCIAL SOCITEY
WAY BACK YEARS AGO THAT HAS A FEW TOWNES FAMILY MEMBERS IN IN ALONG WITH BASKERVILL FAMILIES GENEALOGY. I AM LOOKING FOR IT IN MY MESS AND WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN I FIND IT. THERE IS A HUGE SWAMPY AREA IN THE FOOTHILLS OF THE CATSKILL MTS IN NEW YORK THAT IS NAMED THE BASKERVILL. I THOUGHT THIS MIGHT INTEREST SOME OF YOU. I HAVE GONE CAVING IN THIS AREA.
THE BOOK IS ON THE (FIRST MEADE) FAMILY IN VIRGINIA.
