Hi, Ben. Thanks for the reply. We are of the same clan! Irwin was the elder son of George Nicholas James Towner, who was the eldest son of George Towner. So Irwin would have inherited the basic arms granted to George. Winsley now inherits those arms. Barrie would have a slight variation. Which of these is your grandfather? My father Laurie was a first cousin of Irwin's. I have met Fae and Barrie, but not Winsley.
