I am looking for information on descendants from the line of Andrew Elijah Towne, born 1811 in NY, Died Feb 22, 1884 in Canada
Appeared on the 1851 Canadian Census- said to be the first Towne to appear on the Canadian Census.
Father was Andrew Towne b Oct. 9, 1777 D 1814 in the Battle of Plattsburgh, NY. Mother Rosetta Snow.
Andrew Elijah Towne's Spouse was Charlotte Hunter b 1822.
Children were: George, Sarah, Caroline,Stephen,Andrew, Calvin, Charlotte, Herman, Wyman, Almira, Maria, Frances, and Aaron.
