Julie, have you heard of the Towne Family Association? You can become a member by proving your Towne lineage and paying $15 for a year's membership. It is well worth the money.
I can offer this from the Descendants of William Towne and Joanna Blessing ...
This book lists 7 children for your Allen Towne couple: does not list Anna, Minnie or Martha - not saying it's correct, just reporting what the book contains.
It does not follow the female Towne descendants, but it does say that Lavinia married William Penley.
Allen Towne married Jane Haggard and they apparently went to Wisconsin. It lists their 10 children and probably some of the descendants.
Daniel S Towne married (1) Martha Underhill in 1860 and 3 children; married (2) Mary E Brooks in 1889 and had 2 more children. The children and probably some descendants are listed.
