Did you mean Samuel was the s/o Elizabeth Knight and Samuel Towne??? If so, they were married 20 Oct. 1696. There is/was an Elizabeth Knight who was the d/o Philip and Margery Knight bp. 25 Jan. 1676. Could be the Elizabeth who m. Samuel Towne. This is from the Topsfield Vital Records.

I see nothing else on Philip.
