In Reply to: CHRISTOPHER TOWLER FAMILY by Michael Scrape of 139

I ran across a Christopher TOLER and wife Mary who had a baby daughter, Milley, baptised at St. Peter's Parish, New Kent County, Virginia on May 2, 1756. Milley was born March 17, 1756. No relation that I know of. Just thought this piece of information might be useful to you, since the name TOWLER is spelled every which way in the old records --Toler, Tolar, Toller, Tollar -- to name a few. "Toler" seems to be the most common spelling.
