Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Sorry about the delay in response, but we've been dealing with medical problems. I would suggest that you forward your information to Virginia Mahoney at vmahon@juno.com and she can fill you in on the Bemis Toweys. I hope that you won't mind if she shares any additional information you provide with me too. John's father was named Patrick, born c. 1810 and he lived in the townland of Broher, near Ballaghaderreen. The adjacent farm was owned by his brother, Andrew, born c. 1809, who is my ancestor. Virginia will tell you how they fit into the family. You can contact me at toweylr@proaxis.com Dick
