I believe Margaret to be the sister of my Great-Grandfather, Thomas Towey. They left Ireland around 1863. Their parents were John Towey and Catherine Callaghan.

I have information transcribed from an 1880 census which showed her to be 36 years of age and married to Edward Touhy, age 44, and living in Olmstead County MN.

It lists children: William (18), Mary (16), John (14), Lawrence (12), Elizabeth (9), Margaret (7), Edward (1); all born in MN.
