You mention that the Towards originated in Scotland.

Grizzel/Grace Forrest, the sister of my 3rd great grandfather, married Walter Toward, around 1825, who was the innkeeper of the Clydesdale Hotel in Biggar, Lanarkshire. They had eight children.

Do you have any information that might connect with them?
