For anyone interested James Tout(e) came to Australia on the Prince Regent in 1827 basically on condition he agree to settle(instant Ticket of Leave for v.minor rural offence) a ploy of the time to get young farm people into the Colonies. m 1859 to Rose Meeman at Queanbeyan.NSW
Be that as it may the names Wm & James (with Owen alternating) have survived. Have deal of Australian archival material if wanted.
Family continues to this day.Largely horsemen born and bred quite naturally. Occasional gold-mines too!! My g/father WmJamesTout was a wonderful man and aliving link with ggg/f only passed away last year at 102yrs.Walcha/Gloucester NSW.Then Wauchope/Long Flat area.
