Your post is very old, but thought I would try to connect any way. Will you check your book with the Toussaint surname from Germany please? I have Mathias Toussaint, b. abt. 1934, , , Germany. Wife Katherine "Katie" Normann, b. abt. 1841 in , , Germany. Married in , , Germany. Came to U.S. with children on 11 Apr 1893, New York. Children: Wilhem, Henri, Suzanna, Kati. Children were all in their twenties at time of arrival. Marinette, Wisconsin is stated on ship manifest as destination. Suzanna remained in neighboring Menominee, Michigan and married Mathias Kiefer. Suzanna was my g-grandmother. I have no information beyond her father, g-g-grandfather Mathias and g-g-grandmother Katherine.
