I have an Anne (or Anna) Tousley born circa 1830 in Upper Canada. She married Guy Owen Weller and were living in North Dorchester Twp (near Oxford Co.) in 1851. I don't know if they were married there or in Clarke Twp where Guy had lived previously.

I have been looking for any references to the surname Tousley in the North Dorchester area and had come across your line in Oxford Co. Victory Sikes Tousley was a blacksmith and had come to Oxford Co c1800. Sikes Tousley was a major in the Oxford militia during the war of 1812.

Other names that I have come across are Ariel Tousley and Alanson Tousley.

Do you know if my Anne is connected to your line?
