Sorry it took so long for me to respond. I have been busy and haven't got into the forum. I spoke to my Dad's oldest sister she remembers the name Martin Tousey but not sure of the relationship. From what I can gather my father and his siblings did not have much contact with the Tousey side of the family so little is know beyond my grandparents. My aunt (Martha) said that she remembers she was named after her grandmother Martha Lenox Tousey. This does not fit with your Howard Tousey's mother's name. But the year of birth is close. Was the Howard Tousey your talking about born in Brooklyn. I know he had a brother Frank Tousey who was in the real estate business in Brooklyn.

My father as I think I said before was Fred (1915-1967) his siblings were Ken(died at 21)
Ralph (died 1997) Doris (died 1969) Martha (still alive at 85) and Joan (still alive at 70). Grandfather Howard died shortly after my Uncle Ken I am not sure of the year but must have been in the late 1930's or early 40's as my dad was old enough to work and he raised his 2 youngest sisters Joan and Doris after their Dad died. My Grandmother Josephine Schmidt Tousey died at 89 in 1983.

I recently came in contact with a Hugh Tousey who is from another branch of the family and lives near me in Maryland. We hope to get together and exchange notes. Apparently, he has done extensive research. Talk to u later. Bob
