U. F. Tourville, April 1868, born in Canada,carpenter, renting house where he lived. He could read and write English. Shows he arrived US 1881.
Amanda,wife, September 1874, born in New York. She and U F had been married 6 years and she had 4 children and 3 were living in 1900. She could read and write English.
Alice,daughter, March 1896, born in Illinois
Edward, son, November 1897, born in Illnois
Hilda, daughter, June 1899, born in Illinois


1910 census 19 Ward Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, series T624, roll 261, book 1, page 5b

Ulric F., age 43, born in Canada, he was a wellright, he was renting the house where he lived.
Amanda, age 35, born New York. She and Ulric had been married 16 years and she had 6 children and 3 were living in 1910.
Alice, age 14, born in Illinois. She could read and write English.
Edward W., age 12, born in Illinois. He could read and write English.
Walter S., age 4, born in Illinois

1920 35 Ward Chicago, cook County, Illinois, series T625, roll 356, book 1, page 16a
Fred U. Tourville, age 52, born in Canada, a wellright in machinery construction. Arrived US 1890, became citizen 1895.
Amanda , age 45 born in New York.
Alice, age 23, a clerk for the railroad.
Edward D., age 22, a clerk for electrotype company.
Walter T., age 13.
Raymond, age 6, born in Illinois.

Joseph A. Giroux, age 53, born in Canada, arrived US 1870 and became citizen 1884. He could read and write English. Occupation looks like Vellion maker (but not sure of writing).
Josephine, age 50, born in canada. arrived US 1880, became citizen 1895.
Pearl M, age 22, born in Illinois, a stenographer in an office.
William J., age 19, born in Illinois, a merchandise stockkeeper.
Marshall B., age 14 , born in Illinois.
All of the above could read and write English.

I think this maybe be the Charles Pouliot who married Valerie Tourville. I'll keep checking.

son, Wilfred, age 18, born in Illinois, a machinest.
dau., Dora, age 16, born in Illinois.
son, Paul, age 11, born in Illinois.
dau., Rose, age 9, born in Illinois.
All of the above could read and write English.


I have some more info on Alphonse's children. I will be gone to California for a week, but will get back with that info.
