Esther Tourneur's father is my 9th great-grandfather. Esther is my 8th gr-grandaunt.

You may view the Tourneur and De Veaux lines (as far as I have them) at my gedcom at rootsweb/worldconnect site at the following url: http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=joanfran

You may also read ONLINE, James Riker's History of Harlem, and Teunis Bergen's Early Settlers of Kings Co., which both have a vast amount of information of the Tourneur's, De Veaux, Oblinus, and other related families. It is at Cornell University Library, Making of America Series at http://cdl.library.cornell.edu/moa/

Enjoy. J
