"TO ALL WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
KNOW YE,that Jasper N. Tounzen, a Private of Captain James M. Ritchey Company, (K)15 th Regiment of ______ Missouri VOLUNTEERS who was enrolled on the tenth day of July ont thousand eight hundred and sixtyfour to serve twenty months during the war, is hereby DISCHARGED from the service of the Untied States, this first day of July 1865, at Springfield, Missouri by reson of Experation of term of service. (No objection to his being re-enlisted is known to exist.)
Said JASPER N. TOUNZEN was born in Henry County in the State of Tennessee, is 22 years of age, five feet eleven inches high, fair complexion, gray eyes, light hair, and by occupation, when enrolled, a FARMER.
Given at SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI this first day of July, 1865.
