chris, saw you message and had to see if we are looking for the same family. my grandfather was alexander tough born in 1861 in either sunderland or aberdeen. my mother said he was from scotland. don't know his mother or fathers name. he married jane, don't know her maiden name either and they had at least 7 children. they came to the u.s. in 1907, my grandfather and oldest son james on april 5 and my grandmother and 6 children elizabeth 22, robert 19, alexander 13, jane (my mother)11, laura 7 and norman 6. they went to rochester n.y. and as far as i know that is where they died. i never knew any of my family. as far as i knew we were just a family of 4, my parents and my sister and myself. if any of this rings a bell, please get in touch with me. thanks, mary lou wertz
