I carefully reread the certificate and you are absolutely right. I was going on some of the research being done on it is a brick wall...and he was pretty sure he had Peter's family found. I do not think that it is correct - Alexander Tough and Mary Watt. Peter and Ann show a son baptized in February 1834, Skene, John. That means they married in Old Machor, St. Nicholas in December 1833 and number one son appeared two months later in Skene. The other two boys they had also show being baptized there. John is absent from the 1841 Census and all others. That first son may have died. I suspect that Peter's father's name was John. Their second son was Alexander and Ann Keith's father's name was Alexander. The other witness was George Keith and I have found him - Ann's brother.... After 10 years of searching for Peter's was nice to have a bit of however fleeting hope!!
